Organization Overview

Stepping Higher, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community service organization dedicated to the restoration, development and establishment of cultural and personal achievement at all levels of our community.

Stepping Higher, Inc. is dedicated to “Moving People in a Positive Direction”.
Our Purpose:
The specific purpose for which this corporation is organized is to assist individuals in their preparation to become productive members of society. The organization will provide services that will improve their behavioral and communication skills, decrease negative behaviors and increase the likelihood of employability or sustained employment. The organization will provide shelter, food and clothes for men, women and children that qualify for the programs.

Mission Statement

To offer assistance to the areas of the community where main stream support is so often neglected.

To alleviate the barriers that continue to hamper communities by providing viable alternatives that will move them into new echelons of ethical, social and cultural development.

To foster a deeper resolve for individualized accomplishments and pro-social values (i.e. self-discipline, personal responsibility, community-wide vision).

Our Vision

Our dream is to see every person regardless of race, creed or socio-economical stature, excel in areas of social and personal success that were not obtainable before. Stepping Higher, Inc. is a bridge in the community that provides the tools that people need to achieve their goals and access a better quality of life.

For those who stumble or are caught in one of life’s traumatic misfortunes, Stepping Higher, Inc. becomes a network of assistance- providing programs, training & education opportunities, counseling services and more.

In a nutshell, we want to provide reassurance, encouragement, support and resources necessary to foster hope for a better and productive future.
